MYSpeed uses a simulated optimization algorithm to find the best location for each component reel to obtain maximum throughput. Once MYSpeed has located the optimal feeder locations, you can easily print out the results and a kit of instructions. Or simply place the information on the network, and it will be available to all placement machines and all computers running TPSys.

MYSpeed can estimate machine performance and run times with a margin of error of less than 10 percent. In other words, you can more accurately predict production times - a useful tool for subcontractors when quoting a new job.

Lock feeders in loaded layout
MYSpeed 2.5 is also useful for multi-job optimization, helping you minimize feeder setups when changing over from one job to another. Add the first job, optimize, and permanently lock all feeders to proposed positions in the machine - so that each time a subsequent job is loaded, free feeder positions will be utilized. You can also load a layout and optimize it; load the next job and similar components will automatically lock.

MYSpeed 2.5 includes a new interface that shows which feeders and magazines are locked - making it easy to find locked magazines and feeders that are not in use for a loaded layout.

Limit number of tape reels both on production line and layout level
A limited number of tape reels of a specific component will obviously affect how MYSpeed will optimize the line. That’s why we ensured that this information could be connected to the machine line or layout. The latter one is useful for subcontractors and the first one is typically useful for OEMs with a more fixed mixture of layouts.

It knows what’s there, and what’s not
MYSpeed even considers feeders that aren’t yet in your placement machines. If the number of feeder positions is not enough to run a job, and a machine must be reloaded with new feeders during production, MYSpeed will include these factors in the optimization process.

Fully integrated with MYDATA CAD Conversion
MYDATA CAD Conversion is seamlessly integrated with MYSpeed, making it simple and easy to use in the production process flow. When the CAD-file is converted into a MYDATA mount file, the optimizer can easily be reached. To use this functionality, the user needs one MYSpeed and one CAD Conversion license.

Extra balancing option
MYSpeed 2.5 also comes with the possibility to balance a job further for better performance by including the conveyer transport time in the total mounting time.
