MYDATA at Electronics Production 2002, Sweden
MYDATA automation will be showing many new products at this year´s EP 2002 (15-18 Jan.). The main focus will be on its revolutionary new feeder technology, Agilis™, which reduces setup and changeover times up to 75 percent. Other new products on show also contribute to shorter set up and changeover times.

Bypass conveyor for increased production flow
A new bypass conveyor that improves the production flow is available from MYDATA automation. The conveyor allows boards to pass underneath a machine and continue on to the next one in the production line.

MYDATA introduces MYLabel (TM) for increased component traceability
Inventory control has never been easier. MYDATA automation introduces MYLabel, which enables users to effortlessly keep track of remaining component quantities and batch names. All information is updated from the latest statistical production data, so the user will always know if a tape reel has enough components on it for the next job.

Increased throughput for high-mix category components
A new automatic tool change feature has been released for the high-speed mount head
HYDRA Speedmount®. With the new Automatic Tool Exchange (ATE) a wider range of high-mix category components can be smoothly handled by the HYDRA Speedmount, thus increasing the machine's throughput.

Automatic package definition
MYDATA automation will preview the next version of its Linux-based system software, TPSys® 2.3. The software is designed to allow even faster setups and changeovers, offering new features such as package definition auto-teach, and improved vision algorithms for advanced packages such as CCGA and flip chip.

T6 (TM) - the in-line solution for large board handling
The demand for automatic large board handling has continued to increase. MYDATA will be showing the new conveyor T6, capable of handling boards up to 914 x 610 mm (36" x 24").
